GUI Developer (Permanent)

Description
Our client has raised the bar with a complete re-design of its industry recognized Graphical User Interface. Working with a strong team of Windows Developers and Interaction Designers, the GUI Developer will be a key player in the design and development of their flag ship storage management application.
This person will actively participate from concept through prototype, design and implementation. This position will be primarily a hands-on senior developer, but there will be some mentoring of other developers working in this area.

Qualifications

• Over 5+ years of Windows GUI Development Experience in Released Products: using MFC, ATL and/or C# with .NET Framework
• Formal GUI Design Experience For Released Products: with experience using User Centered Design (UCD) techniques and with experience working with a Graphic / Interaction Designer
• C++ Development Experience
• Strong Problem Solving and Debugging skills
• Mentoring Experience
• Experience developing Microsoft Management Console Applications
• Experience with COM and ActiveX control development
• Experience with Web Services and XML
• Experience with Geographically dispersed teams
